Classes are arranged by age group. Each group learns three dances in different styles: tap, ballet/ lyrical, & jazz/ hip hop. These dances are performed at our annual Spring show the end of April.

*As of June 2009, all students will pay a $10 non- refundable registration fee at time of registration, valid June- May of the following year.
*For students taking performance classes, a $32 ticket deposit is optional, however highly recommended, at registration, which reserves 4 tickets to our Spring Show.
Costume fee: $130 For three costumes. (Two payments of $65 each; the first due September 20th- 23rd and the second January 17th- 20th, 2011).
Show dates: April 29th, 30th & May 1st, 2011.

(New students are dancers who have never danced before with Studio 8, students who did not dance last full
season or summer session, or students who dropped class last season.)

Elite Class Information:
Studio 8 offers advanced performance classes in two age categories from 14 & up. Our elite classes are for dancers who have a stronger level of commitment to both technique and choreography. Dancers involved in our elite classes are required to take a supplemental class which will be recommended at the audition. Elite dancers should also be willing to schedule extra rehearsals for outside performances as necessary. Attendance in mandatory in an elite class; dancers must not miss more than four classes during the year without prior instructor approval. After four absences, if a dancer must miss class, they are required to schedule private tutoring for $20. Please make sure dancers and their families are aware of the time commitment. Dancers are required to audition for placement in an elite class and they will be held:
August 30th: 4- 5:30pm (there will be no make- up audition)
Results will be posted shortly after and students may register then.
Dancers need to bring tap and lyrical shoes to auditions.
